About Me
👋 My name is David Grudl. I design and build web technologies, and for the past few years, I've been deeply immersed in artificial intelligence as well. If you've been browsing the internet today, chances are you've stumbled upon a website where I've left my developer fingerprint (and if something wasn't working properly, that obviously wasn't my fault).
🚀 I've created numerous open-source projects, including the Nette framework (used by thousands of developers), the Latte templating system (the only truly secure one out there), the debugging tool Tracy (which developers become addicted to), and many others that you can find on GitHub – all available for free.
🤖 I'm fascinated by the world of artificial intelligence. In the Czech Republic, I founded Uměligence, where I write about the latest developments and explain AI principles in a way that's understandable to everyone. The blog is also available as a podcast, and I regularly give lectures and lead workshops on AI.
🎙️ You can also hear me every week on the Czech-language show Tech Guys, where my colleagues and I discuss technology news. Apple, cryptocurrencies, artificial intelligence, and then back to Apple for a change.
✍️ When I need a break from technical topics, I write on my oldest blog La Trine. There I share personal experiences, poke fun at the world, and occasionally surprise readers with an unexpected article about physics or something else that catches my interest. The blog was once nominated for the Magnesia Litera award – a jury mistake I still can't comprehend.
